If you are purchasing an Chrysler, or if you already own one, you may be
thinking about getting some level of coverage beyond the normal manufacturer's
warranty. Although Chrysler's are generally very reliable vehicles, an
extended auto warranty may provide you with protection to offer you the
peace of mind you are looking for. Chrysler Coverage programs can either
extend the original level of coverage that came with your vehicle, or
offer you a limited extended warranty plan. These plans are accepted
nationwide at all Chrysler dealers, and also afford you with most of
the benefits usually granted with new car purchases.
Chrysler Extended Warranties - Alternative Provider
Although Chrysler offers a very good extended warranty, many consumers
feel more comfortable with an alternative provider. You should always
investigate your options before picking your extended warranty plan.
Chrysler Factory Warranty:
Powertrain warranty of 7 years / 70,000 miles applies to all new Chrysler vehicles
sold or leased after July 9, 2002. Warranty is transferable to subsequent owners at no
extra cost. Roadside assistance administered by Cross Country Motor Club, Inc., Boston MA
02155. You must call 800-521-2779 for prior authorization to receive these benefits.
Warranty Coverage Quick Facts:
- 3-year or 36,000-mile basic limited warranty.
- 7-year or 70,000-mile limited warranty on the power train.
- Towing assistance for the full 7/70.
- Transferrable.
- A deductible applies to the 7-year 70,000-mile powertrain limited warranty.
- Excludes normal maintenance and wear items.
- Administered by Cross Country Motor Club, Inc., Boston MA 02155.
